The model of the opening machine should be matched according to the properties of the raw materials: pure cotton and fallen cotton use saw-tooth beating machines; synthetic fibers and doll cotton prefer comb needle structures; waste fabrics with a lot of miscellaneous materials use large-channel strong opening machine groups. Hard objects such as iron wires and stones are sorted out from the raw materials in advance to prevent the beating teeth from cracking. The moisture content of cotton materials is controlled at 6% to 8%, and that of synthetic fibers at 5% to 7%. Damp raw materials are dried first before production to prevent the rollers from getting clogged.
Daily maintenance follows the principle of daily cleaning, weekly inspection, and monthly calibration: clear the machine and remove cotton entanglements and dust in the air duct every shift; add lubricating oil to each bearing weekly and check the tightness of the belts and the wear of the tooth bars; calibrate the distance between the beating teeth and the dust rods monthly. For raw cotton, the distance is 3 to 5 mm, and for synthetic fibers, it is 5 to 8 mm. Standard operation and maintenance can reduce the failure rate by 40%, stabilize the uniformity of the output, and effectively extend the service life of the entire machine.
